Well, X is done. Some close calls in the E4 (Wikstrom's Aegislash, Diantha's M-Gardevoir) but ultimately pretty smooth after the early game. I had to turn off EXP share a bunch to stop key teammates from overleveling before gyms (Azumarill ended up slightly over Diantha during the E4, but it didn't make a difference - she was gonna OHKO Goodra and Auroros regardless). Lessons learned:
>A good pokemon with a bad nature is still good (Azumarill), and a fine pokemon with a bad nature will leave things on 10% to piss you off (Delphox)>Lucario is busted>don't hedge on NPCs making the wrong move (also, exeggutor gets psyshock on level-up starting in g5)>you WILL lose someone to the furfrou double battleI've never used Lucario or Sigilyph before and they both impressed me. Snorlax, Venusaur, and Azumarill are always solid. Golos had a -sp.atk nature that really hurt his ability to OHKO, but he was ultimately fine and the fire coverage saved me after Wikstrom's Klefki's torment ruined my +6 Lucario sweep (couldn't bone rush Aegislash after KOing Probopass). He also chipped at Diantha's sleeping M-Gardevoir and set up Light Screen so Venusaur could come in and KO with sludge bomb.
