Do you think Serena having the most attractive design for a female companion is done purposely to write her as a wish-fullfilment girlfriend for Ash? The animators pulled out all the stops, long flowing golden hair, the typical skirt and stockings look, dresses/outfits, the hourglass figures, etc. She's designed to look much more physically attractive than the past girls (even May or Dawn), so why do you think the writers decided to have a "pretty" girl with a canon crush on Ash? Is it wish-fullfilment from the writers?
