>>54522959>Gen 1Pokemon in its purest form. I like to pretend none of the other gens exist when I play it. Not that I hate every other gen, mind you. I just love indulging in that OG kino.
>Gen 2National Park ost is probably my favorite piece of music to come out of the Pokemon franchise. I have a lot of good things to say about gen 2, but this is my favorite thing about it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBlX2LOffn0&ab_channel=XularusXIII>Gen 3With gen 3 came the greatest Pokemon ever created, FUG. My favorite starter, Sceptile. And the Battle Frontier, which I spent hundreds of hours autistically struggling against.
>Gen 4It was the gen I had the most fun playing with my friends at school. No need for cables or any of that. We had lots of fun battles using our totally legit lv100 shiny legendaries, some of my fondest memories. It was the gen where I was finally able to satisfy my desire to use trade mons.
>Gen 5Castelia City is probably my favorite city in any Pokemon game, and walking the bridge to get there was also great. I hope they do it justice in the remakes.
>Gen 6First gen where I completed my Pokedex legitimately, the best online out of any Pokemon game. I spent hours wonder trading Pokemon and trading with random strangers. The PSS truly was wonderful.
>Gen 7It has my favorite characters. It has the best and widest array of waifus, but also Team Skull which is my favorite team. I love Guzma.
>Gen 8Very controversial opinion (I think) incoming, but Leon is probably my favorite champion. He is the first champion to feel like the champion of something. He has the championest vibes. My favorite champion battle, in front of a massive audience, took me right back to the first scene of the first episode of Pokemon where Nidorino is fighting Gengar.
>Gen 9Terasalization is probably my favorite gimmick. Sure it looks stupid as fuck, but I just really love being able to change the type of your Pokemon, and any Pokemon can do it.
