Why Alola? Because I wanted a smaller dex with no megas for a challenge, and I like the Alolan dex more than Kalos's. Playing Challenge Mode, More Caps, and using the no-grinding patch available from the IE discord that disables all EVs. Also, and this might be cheating but fuck it, since the majority of the Alolan forms are only available at the Mauville Game Corner for some reason, I'm going to make the rule that when I catch the 'Kantonian' form in the wild I'll trade it out for its Alolan form once I get access to the Game Corner because fuck you game.
Anyway, picked Rowlet because it struck me as more interesting than the other two (gets Tinted Lens plus a huge boost to its speed in this hack as Decidueye), plus I'll be able to get one of the other two later on anyway. If Roxanne thrashes me I'll probably just go Popplio.
