But it's also just not very obvious at all? Like dinos are one thing but "Owl evolves into bigger owl" seems pretty normal, it suddenly becoming Ghost because there used to be bigger owls IRL is a weird excuse that doesn't parse to the player and has no actual relation to it being a ghost in universe. They seemed to be pushing "It's stealthy and uses dark energies" as the reason but it could just as easily be a dark type.
And then there's Oricorio's ghost type form which is just. Lol.
