Everyone and their mother was saying that the justification for Galarian Weezing being Fairy-type was because it can purify toxins and produce clean air, but now that Galarian Ponyta does basically the same thing this is suddenly something that doesn't make sense for Fairy-type and fits better with the Psychic-type? Nah, it's pure bullshit is what it is.
It's pretty clear that the only reason these Pokémon have the wack types that they do is because it gets people talking
