the more remakes they make the more they streamline the rehashing process, and lest we do not forget this could be done with a separate team to a mainline release. Even with a modest 108 employees, most of the footwork for making a pokemon game is already done. 80% of the office could be working on USM, while the other 20% could easily be fine tuning diamond and pearl remakes as we speak. Remakes take less work by default.
still, I think it's idiotic of GF to have so few employees when they've got the best net revenue per employee out of any video game company in the industry. Pokemon literally prints money in comparison to any other video game franchise. Add another floor or two of workers and they could deliver the wildest dreams of the fans making full-fleshed games in yearly installments. BUUUUTTT the pokemon company solely exists to cover Nintendo's stupid decisions as of late.
