https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-10-24-pokemon-sword-and-shield-junichi-masuda-shigeru-ohmori-interview>Concerning the future of this franchise, what's to expect about Pokémon Sword and Shield, BDSP and LegendsNothing. If you expect nothing, you cannot be disappointed. (laughs) I had a talk with Ohmori these days, when he decided to come to work. We were drinking tea and he was llike laughing about how many fans put Pokémon in Home that we'll never let them take out, basically infinite money. Then I asked him about BDSP soundtrack and that I wasn't really feeling like doing remixes, so we actually called the developers and exported the same (laughs) the very same audio files I made decades ago.
Done, that's the BDSP soundtrack. We just had a laugh, knowing we did 1/4 of the game in a talk.
>Will BDSP be a 1-by-1 recreation of DP?Nope, because then it'd actually be a good game. I think the fans will have to wait and see the many ways that we found to disappoint even their weakest expectations. I'm optimistic that the final product will be as mediocre as possible.
>Many people are concerned about GameFreak tackling open-world with the new Legends titles. What's your position about that?Tell them they don't have to be concerned because it won't be open-world and it will be awful and they will buy it anyway.
>There has been a lot of controversy about the obligatory EXP Share...If you are stupid enough to buy the game, you are too stupid to finish it without the Exp Share.
