Also I got curious as to how each generation faired since I'd recently finished a new list on Dragonflycave. The graph uses the percentage of fully evolved Pokemon in each region. Not entirely surprised that Johto and Sinnoh dominate a lot of the Pokemon that I'd consider pretty good designs, kinda surprised that Kalos pulls ahead towards the end, obviously it's got less designs to work through but it pulls ahead a lot earlier than the point where I'd consider the Pokemon designs to be ones I'm ambivelent towards (Kalos takes over with Barbaracle for me). I'd consider my point of ambivalence to be around probably ~450 and dislikes probably around ~540.
Not entirely surprised either that Kanto and Galar/Hisui bottom out the graph, Kanto to be fair loses a lot of good designs for the simple fact they're no longer fully evolved Pokemon (Magneton, Rhydon, Electabuzz, etc.). In my bottom 20 Pokemon, 10 are from Galar which should probably explain why right at the end the Galar/Hisui line lags behind everything.
