Machop has a really barren moveset, most bosses pre-credits resist Fighting, and Karate Chop doesn't even have a higher critrate. Also the quiz is weighted towards it due to one specific question.
Cubone's attacks aren't very good against the majority of story bosses, also does not start with a damaging move so you must use the default A attack for a couple levels
Psyduck has no water moves
Running with either of those 3 might give you the wrong idea of the game. Pretty much everything else you can take is decent to great.
