Dyamax would have been cool too in triples since the bonus effects of max moves would only effect 2 pokemon on your side (or opponent’s) unless you put it in the middle... but then all three of your opponent pokemon could put three attacks on your dynamax and knock it out early...
I think both formats would have had their place in Gen 8
