Zapdos is only offered as a check against a rough play variant, mega venusaur excels against any variant however, not only is it faster and able to 2HKO with EQ, it resists mawile's best stab, takes neutral damage from any coverage moves, and heals anything off with synthesis or leech seed. Mega Mawile aint shit for mega venusaur.
