Compare that to the other anon's Webm. The only time when there are sharp cuts is when Pikachu is flailing and they are used comedically. Meanwhile the 2 second scene where Hariyama throws Pikachu down probably has double the amount of frames of your gif.
They are nowhere near the same in quality of animation. You're allowed to prefer one to the other but in terms of animation SM wins.
