Heres something I recently made up about Absol while bored, just because its official PKMN lore made no sense:
Absol's species was originally mostly composed of specimens who were basicly 'MajorMan if he Pokemon' and actualy caused random calamities if a proper natural disasters hadnt yet occured frequently enough, in order to 'save' unsuspecting humans for their referencje in reward - some pesky researcher probably had found out by pure chance about their true natures - which caused the Absols become distrusted to the extent of being hunted and killed on-sight by ancient-era humans, nearly to the point of their species almost getting wiped-out entirely by them... This is mainly why current Absol-kind acts so noble despite cathegorized as being an Evil-type Pokemon - just because its species has re-formed upon the threat of death, doesnt mean their nature has changed - Absol just found another use for its abilities
