Charline didn't say much to her team for a few days. She spent those days either crying or moving forward. Sometimes both. Eventually, she reached her destination: Celestial Tower.
The building was empty of people. It was supposed to be sacred, and exclusive to Pokémon now. But the Lilligant attending to the first floor was known to be lenient on the rules, especially those regarding humans.
Upon seeing Charline walk in with Harvard's body leaning on her shoulder, the plant mon gasped and soon brought out sympathies. She gave Charline a hug, took Harvard off her hands, and buried him appropriately.
Once the deed was done, Charline lay his small travelling bag by the grave's side and finally got the last of her tears out. The Lilligant directed her upstairs, and the trainer climbed to the top just to ring the bell and hear its hollow chiming.
Charline stayed at the tower for a few hours longer, not wanting to let go just yet, before the Lilligant gave her some more comfort and waved her off.
After the entire debacle, the trainer wasn't even thinking. Her team had been stuck in their balls for a while, and she decided to keep them there longer. She headed to the airport and put down money for a trip to Undella Town, to relax.
Only upon landing was Charline able to relax herself. Not too much though, considering the summer season.
Regardless, she was exhausted. A few more hours after landing, she'd rented herself a secluded villa, where she spent the next month and a half relaxing. Undella was far-away enough from most of the trouble she'd run into that the trainer felt confident she was safe there.
And for once, she was.
While she relaxed, her team trained on their own. They avoided being seen near her or too close together, regardless of whether there were Beheeyem about or not, and even trained so hard that one day Sparta went and evolved. She came running to Charline, proud of herself and happy about all that she'd done.
And so it was, for the time.
