This is important to the topic of Misty because I only faintly remember anything about Kanto aside from her being on a date and the girl in Saffron wanting a doll, they were kind of the only noteworthy areas in G/S Kanto for me along with Cinnabar.
Anime Misty was a huge childhood crush of mine but the gym campaign of the games was so much shorter of a story compared to total playtime so her swimsuit designs weren't really as prolific outside of the TCG at the time, which was mostly because of the japanese arts which were talked about in the same breath as rumors. I do currently like both RBY & GSC Misty equally to her anime design; I recognize them as two separate characters as I do with most anime vs video game characterizations like Brock or Oak as examples.
