Colress has joined the antagonistic cult of the fic to continue his research, and he discovers a way to use the Pokerus together with several other things to raise a Pokemon's potential to their absolute limits and eventually beyond. What happens to the Pokemon isn't really a central focus of the fic, but the theme is present.
