You know what's sad and a wasted opprotunity? The fact that Gamefreak never considered expansions. I really think if they did, they could use that to stave off the wait between games, make fans happy, and have their B team doing something while their A team works.
Seriously, just imagine if we got expansions on par with what you would get in older PC games. Stuff akin to Marine Mania or Bloodmoon in terms of size.
