>>37944784Gamefreak has gotten away with a lot of shit ever since the 3DS-era and it’s gotten really tiring for a lot of us to get our expectations up only for them to come crashing down because Gamefreak rushed the game out or just didn’t feel like putting in the effort. I get where you’re coming from and I hate putting it so negatively but I’m fucking sick and tired of Gamefreak’s excuses. This isn’t some indie developer studio, it’s one of if not the biggest franchise on the damn planet and it doesn’t really feel like it anymore. LGPE was the last straw for me. I didn’t hate SM like a lot of others did but USUM was really lazy and put me back in the pessimist mindset, only to be knocked down even lower when LGPE was an even worse result than I was expecting when I wasn’t expecting anything. I want to be excited but until we get some real proof that Gamefreak is trying again I’m not buying the “we’re trying to make the best game yet” nonsense. There’s not much evidence pointing to whether the games will be good or bad yet because in reality we have next to no info on anything past how the game looks, the starters, and that there’ll be gym leaders of some sort.
