>>56150605I don't really agree with the reasoning and think they should have left it up, but you can't argue in good faith that AG aligns with the point of Smogon in the first place. It was only originally created because people wanted a way to use Mega Ray. The implication that it had no community and people left when novelty wore off implies that there's no need to push people toward CURRENT THING. People will spend the most time playing what can hold their attention.
