Gen 5 is probably one of my top gens, it might not have had the based post content until BW2 but it actually made it seem a lot more realistic with characterizations, even having characters which actually do shit when an organisation is out attacking their region, in the other games when the regions being destroyed by ecoterrorists or a gang of common thugs are taking over cities, gym leaders just sit in their gyms doing jack shit and you're basically the only one even doing anything. Come BW, they step up and use their power to give you a hand to take on some of the higher ranked members, its just small things like that.
