As Alex said in the video, Wolfe could have won worlds in 2014 with a resistance a few points higher. Not to mention, his team got published online before the actual event. Considering that imo no one in top cut of worlds besides Sejun Park was as good as Wolfe, and how much difficulty Sejun had with gothitelle teams which Wolfe was running, in his own words:
>However, two players in the Last Chance Qualifier, America’s Wolfe Glick and Japan’s Shota Yamamoto, had teams with a strategy that I was weak to: Trick Room Gothitelle. As a result, I was very worried the day before Worlds. The fact that seven other people were also using Gothitelle was strange—I think that other people used it because Gothitelle was a good hidden card against Garchomp. I ended up playing against Gothitelle in round 2 and round 4 of the Swiss rounds. I lost the first set, but I managed to play really carefully and get past it in the second.
So yeah, bubbling out of worlds off a few percentage points when your fucking team was publishing online for everyone to see, in a year when you could have realistically won a world title. I would feel so fucking robbed if I were Wolfe. I wouldn't even wanna play the game anymore I don't think.
