Ash was the only one acting out against this abuse taking up the role of Misty and Brock along the way.
Anyway is clear AJ flunked out immediately as hes never seen again. Either because he ran an illegal gym or due to his abusive behavior he probably had his license ripped up, his pokemon taken and put into foster care and him put into Pokemon sentitive classes
