Gen 2 is my favorite generation.
I grew up with Silver, it was my first Pokémon game, I have so much memories and nostalgia of the good old days. No natures/abilities/EVs to worry about, no shoe-horned legendaries everywhere, no retarded soulless designs, no autistic comic-book tier villains, just good ol' Pokémon.
I cry everytime I hear the ending credits theme play after beating Lance/Red. The memories just fill me with ecstacy and euphoria.
