I like dumb gimmicks, so here are some dumb gimmick moves.

>Shed Skin

>Restores 1/2 of the user's maximum HP, as well as curing burn, paralysis, and poison. The user's Defense is reduced 1 stage.
Learned by non-legendary, reptilian or snake-like Pokemon within reason. e.g. Seviper and Serperior could learn it, but Onix can't because it's made of stone.

>Target: 1 Enemy
>For 5 turns, the chance that secondary effects of moves targeting the Pokemon will occur is increased by 50% (i.e. 20 * 1.5 = 30).

Only Aurorus learns this, and Amaura through breeding.
