I used a Grumpig in my Omega Ruby playthrough, and it was pretty solid. Overshadowed by Gardevoir and Alakazam, unfortunately, but it's nice to try something different.
Pic related used to win matches for me back in 6th gen in ranked Battle Spot. Decent defensive wall that could actually deal with threats thanks to access to fire type moves and Will-O-Wisp. Only one weakness is nice, but only recovery move was Pain Split, unfortunately.
