I've given up shiny hunting. I've done it for years, but this week, whole dicking around looking for nothing, I came across a shiny quagsire by accident. One of my favorites. I felt joy. Happiness. Elation I haven't felt since I was a boy playing Sapphire, and I came across a shiny doduo in the safari zone by accident.
Is hunting for a shiny satisfying? Yes. Is it excitin? No. I've learned it's the thrill of that out of the blue shiny that makes it all worth it. It's been a good few years in these threads lads, but I've come to accept a shiny should only come once every few years.
