But something I've noticed is there's like six guys I know or work with who prominently identify with Gengar, either as a chat avatar, a tatoo, a bumper sticker, whatever, and they're all kind of dumb and have absolute dogshit taste.

Is this something anyone else has observed? Does Gengar have some secondary meaning I'm unaware of, or is it just a weird coincidence?
