I respect the effort to make a bunch of FF-esque sprites and tilesets, and also the QoL was good. Even though a lot of the art was bad, I respect the effort for that as well.
That's it.

This is maybe the easiest game I've ever played. Opalo/Realidea are like maingame tier easy, this is like sub LGPE tier easy. You literally cannot lose a single major fight in this, you don't have to fight gyms, you get a busted fakemon as a starter, there's no need to engage with literally any of this game's systems.
Every single route and area is extremely short with barely anything in it. Basically all sidequests stop after the first 'region' too, and there are tons of repeated bosses.
The gameplay pretty much exists to be in direct service to the main plot.
And that plot...
I mean, I don't even know what to say kek. Bunken's already done a pretty good job
The game opens with a bunch of incomprehensible nonsense followed by massive lore dumps followed by a character betrayal leading into basically a final boss tier fight in terms of setup and atmosphere, at the 2nd gym. From then on the game just sort of scrambles around and does whatever the fuck it feels like and just slaps on tropes without rhyme or reason.
Your friends? One disappears, one turns out to be an evil general but also then God later I guess, one is your love interest even though you spend maybe like 10 minutes with her prior.
You have ancient civilizations, wars, gods, science experiments, everything that all do absolutely nothing except just speedrun a contest of how much generic bullshit you can slap into your game.
