>>36143944I like it because it's cute in a goofy kind of way. Also, the way it uses a shell as a weapon is an interesting concept (and it serves as a nice reference to the way otters put rocks and shells on their bellies). I like the samurai theme it gets as it evolves, too. Additionally, it was my first ever Pokemon, because gen 5 was when I started playing the series and Oshawott was my first starter, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Admittedly, that might be causing me to like it more than I should, but I believe I'd still like it even if it hadn't been my first Pokemon.
And I don't have much of a problem with the nose, ears, or freckles. The ears definitely could use a bit more detail so they don't look like arbitrary cones stuck to its head, and the nose might be a bit too big, but I think the freckles are just fine. They make Oshawott even cuter, if you ask me.
