>>21126694Unlikely seeing as pokemon regions only take their geography from locations in our world, their actual positions in relation to each other in the pokemon world is not taken from our own.
All we do know for sure is:
1) Kanto and Johto are right next to each other (Kanto to the East, Johto to the West).
2) Johto and Kanto and Hoenn would be in the same country or at least have an EU style political union (Norman and his family do not seem to have to require any special passes, visas of work permits to live in Hoenn and everyone speaks the same language, you'll notice in Gen5 and 6 that there are people speaking foreign languages from other regions occasionally)
3) Sinnoh is nearer to Hoenn, Johto and Kanto than Unova (which GF stated was very far away from the other regions up to that point).
4) Kalos is directly North of Unova as the maps link up perfectly including how the rivers start off in the mountains to the North of Unova and South of Kalos and flow out to the coasts and even the cloud formations they've drawn join up exactly on both maps. (pic related)
5) Azure Bay and the Sea Spirit's Den are based on the UK, specifically the Channel Islands, so may indicate that a UK based region, should GF ever make one, would get placed to the North of Kalos as part of it is already there.
