I tend to like Pokemon that look more like actual animals, or look like they could exist in actuality with a reasonable suspension of disbelief, right.
I also really really really like cats. So much so that I've very recently got an ocelot tattooed on my back. I love all kinds of cats, and lions, to me, are especially fascinating.
And then Pyroar's out of nowhere like "dude I'm a fucking fire lion" and I was like "yoooooooo".
Not to mention, Litleo reminds me of my kitten when I first got him- he had (and still has) those big googly eyes and I love him.
