>>33261473Honestly, I really wanted to like Lycanroc when it was first announced last year. I was really hyped on the idea of finally having a wolf Pokemon. Midday's design wasn't great, but at least solid. Midnight I never really liked. And then they got poor moves, lackluster attacks, and completely fucking useless abilities.
And then they announced a new Lycanroc form, and they had a chance to redeem themselves and make a wolf Pokemon that was actually worthwhile. Nope. Looks like shit, crap ability, same ass moves, likely the same fucking stats. On top of that, they made it event only for no goddamn reason. You like having your Pokemon in certain Pokeballs, or trying to get a shiny, or want egg moves and good IVs? Nah, fuck you, Gamefreak doesn't care so long as they make an incentive for kids to run out and buy their game.
They never fucking learn that they routinely piss their fans off with these shitty decisions. And even if they did, they don't care because they're making money anyway, and unless another franchise suddenly swoops in and steals Pokemon's thunder, they won't step up to fix anything.
