In retrospect, sure, it's slow, but honestly I never noticed initially and even now I just straight up don't care. Like everything

Shit like the snow slowing you down is done for flavor, it's supposed to feel like walking over a vast barren valley of snow in a snow storm and that's how it feels, it's meant to make the journey feel longer than the actual distance, probably to save on map space. Shit like farming honey trees is slow because that's just how it is, you're meant to plant the honey and come back later. I feel like I might have Stockholm syndrome because honestly I love everything that people seem to hate about sinnoh, the HMs, the slowness, all of it.
I won't try to tell other they're wrong for hating it either, I'm well aware my reasons for liking all this shit comes down to autism about the "flavor" and "immersion" of it that ultimately no one but those with the same autism would even understand
