>>21045588>>21045627Yeah, I downloaded it and tried it out and it seems pretty bad. I noticed they only have the 386 (it's a FireRed remake so I guess it makes sense but it seems lazy) and there aren't even any sound effects, and the battles look ugly and slow.
I feel if you're going to make a fangame, and can go beyond what a simple ROM can do, you should do that. At the least have all 719 in the Pokédex; there's a 3D Pokémon Crystal remake that, while it doesn't look that great, at least adds in the first 649 (checking the site they also added some Kalos Pokémon but not all yet) and makes battles quick. (I think the game is just called Pokémon3D. Not something to seriously play, but it has enough novelty to look at it for ten minutes then forget about it. Pic related, it lags like hell when you're outside even if you have lowest quality graphics and reduce your renderdistance until you can't see twenty feet in front of you, but the game plays fine indoors. I also have a toaster for a computer so it might work better on a better one.)
To be fair I don't know how long the MMO has been around; if it's only six months old or something I can understand the lack of progress, it just doesn't feel like something currently worth anyone's time. Someone making an MMO should take full advantage of it, add in all the Pokémon and try to add in all the regions, do the stuff that would make making an MMO worth doing as opposed to just playing the game normally.
