>>57021145>>57021143Alright, here goes nothing.
Born to a family of miners in Sinnoh, Amanda has always had a sharp eye for detail. Still, she greatly favored tending to plantlife. This is how she got the attention of a lonely Budew, who became her first pokemon. For the most part, though, her Budew was more of a pet than anything else until her father gave her a choice between starting a typical pokemon trainer adventure or helping him in the mines.
Amanda’s journey seemed to be going well. In fact, she had even beaten a former Elite Four member before claiming her 5th badge! However, it quickly came to a halt when she had to have her leg amputated after an incident on her travels. It would prove incredibly difficult to try to explore the rest of the Sinnoh region with only one working leg, so she decided it would be better to quit while she was ahead.
Years would pass, and technology would improve. She now has a prosthetic leg, and while it’s not great for traveling long distances, Amanda enjoys being able to walk again. Still, she reflects on what could have been. Now at 48 years old, she’s working on her trainer’s school teacher certification, in hopes that she can educate up and coming trainers so they can be a source of hope for the future.
Also, pic related. Made in one of the picrews because I'm still learning how to draw.
