When Lame Freak implemented Dexit, it was them saying that over half of all Pokémon aren't a priority to them. Then when they left 29% of previous Pokemon out of the DLC they basically told everyone that those Pokemon didn't deserve to exist in Galar at all and by extension, said that fans of those Pokémon don't deserve to be part of the franchise. To add insult, Galar's entire culture revolved around Charizard; "Undefeated Charizard", A new Top Tier form for Charizard, Charizard Pose, Charizard Curry, Charizard Car". Game Freak spat on every single person who didn't start with Charizard and said, "That's what you get for not worshipping Charizard from KANTOOO.
The franchise is no longer about discovering new mons and adding them to your favs. It's become a pissing contest about who's favs get the privilege of being allowed in a game.
Cyndaquil was picked as the fire starter for Legends. This is the first lime Lame Freak ever giving the Cyndaquil Line anything after decades of treating them like "worse Charizard". As a Cyndabro this should have been my Woodstock. But instead of everyone being happy about ol' Cyndaquilrino finally getting some Goddamn respect, the discussion was about Charizard NOT being picked.
Dexit killed the franchise and Kanto Shilling buried it. Game Freak is nothing but a zombie now.
