What I think OP don't understand is that while Unova does has a cult following, meaning it has a small but very passionate fanbase, it's still underrated when it comes to the Pokemon community and outside of it overall. After all, BW is the least selling first versions to date, and Unova is the least voted region in the POTY polls. Hell, I still remember all the threads being made that day about how the "Unovabortions" were BTFO and that suddenly, it's a "fact" that Unova is the worst region. So yeah, it's understandable that many fans, whether they're Gen 5 fans or not, may think that Unova is underrated.
