It's definitely sanded down edgewise, but Iono tried to balance an 'everyone wins" out of the scenario and Syncs with the Flutter Mane as a replacement for her Mismagius in-story
It's a fun side story, it's what Masters excels at. But it's fanservice at the end of the day, I don't think it'd matter if the main games didn't already make these characters appealing. Characters you like in the base games will be great here, though sometimes it makes me appreciate characters I didn't quite think about. Since Klara's debut was with Greta, I found myself really liking Greta. I guess that makes me a bit of a turbo casual for never getting far enough to see her in Battle Frontier
or not remembering her from the anime I guessBut it does feel good to have Klara in a game that I actually like playing and can pester her as much as I want versus the worst Pokemon game I played bar none
