man i've been SPOILED by radical red, actually having to think while mowing down randos and grinding is so hard now.
misty wasn't too bad but i just was not getting good mons for her so i brought some sacks of mons i didn't think i'd use, now i know you can get both ivysaur, milotic and bayleef before the fight though.
lt. surge and the rival both fucking sucked, like holy shit both went the absolute worst ways possible, not only did i lose dugtrio to the rival because of absolutely retarded fucking AI (electabuzz using ice punch randomly on magmar switch, and no it does not read your inputs the game was just being retarded) but he managed to get four turns of flan doing nothing against his golbat with flinches and misses
lt. surge was a massive paralysis fest, there was one sequence of events where faby literally LITERALLY did not break paralysis once out of 7 turns in a row, fucking ridiculous
sort of thinking i'll have to forfeit this run, but i'm getting a lot of good knowledge on where captures are and what strats bosses use, so, eh

>>45100782if you're using items? i'd hard recommend wynaut. wobuffet is EXTREMELY good in any run you can use items.
if no, or you think wynaut's just unfun to use/grind, sett/butchy seem best
