On that note though, what idiot decided to gate progress based on which entrance you use? It makes perfect sense narratively for the grunts to just move on up after cyrus puts his plan in action; they'd have no reason to even KNOW what entrance the player used, let alone arbitrarily decide to fuck off once you use the "right" entrance.
They unironically should have just left the HM roadblocks in.
