>>50013555The pokemon anime remains an objectively mediocre anime that I can't help but have a massive soft spot for because of how much I love this stupid dork and want him to get what he deserves. Animation has never been stellar, character writing isn't strong, and the concepts they're playing still aren't great. That being said, I screamed for like two hours straight when Ash used Mega Lucario to Fight Bea's Gigantamax'd Machamp, or when Sirfetch'd evolved and Ash did that dumb "Let's get stronger and stronger!" line or basically any other time it appealed to my inner shonen dork.
The Anime is a drug and I'm an addict. Let's hope SM's finale can finally make me overdose.
