Hell that would even explain why all the new Pokemon are just shapes or a literal furry as they're just easier to model and save time. SwSh, PLA and SV genuinely do not feel lazy. They've gotten bigger, they actually listen to their senpaitachi and have made getting into competitive more accessible than ever and they supported SwSh competitively for 3 years and even applied balance changes. The people working on the game care, it's the people working above them who see the games as nothing but advertising for their anime and merchandise who don't. You have more than the right to be pissed, but you won't get anywhere if you don't point it in the right direction.
