I'm mid way through an addition to Golden that puts all the Johto pokemon (no 3rd or 4th gen) into the game, giving the worst ones some of their egg moves to help out, and updating trainers and gym leaders to have more Johto pokemon. Stumbled across the ability to change battles to doubles and would be fine making a version that had them but I don't know if trainer text is a deal-breaker.
