>>32508809The burn nerf is their way to nerf Scald. Stuff like Latios who struggled to switch into Scald before now do so a lot more comfortably. Also, there is a Tapu which can shut down the burn chance for 5 turns and is easy to fit into teams.
Similarly, Knock Off has been indirectly nerfed by the introduction of Z-Crystals, although it is a smaller nerf than Scald/burns.
You sorta have a point with Regenerator, but it is only a relative problem in singles. One should wonder instead why they haven't nerfed Intimidate, since that is the ability that is actually somewhat of an issue in doubles.
