>>49819793OK I'll point out what I like about it then compared to nu Pokemon. It has joints in its feet. The fur and whiskers are jagged and don't look "iconic". The eyes make it look mean. The body isn't perfectly spherical but naturally settles where the fat sits. It may not have stuff nailed onto its body but it is still a recognizable and unique design, nobody is going to think "oh someone just drew a rat". More importantly it's well drawn.
