They're releasing Volcarona and Mega Pinsir as if they're worth hunting down, but Volcarona is no better than a Conkeldurr or Hoopa (already available, and probably a lot easier for you to get ready for battle) and Mega Pinsir being strictly worse in most cases to either Mega Houndoom, Mega Gardevoir or Mega Charizard Y (let alone Mega Blaziken). To be fair, I do suspect they held back Volcarona because of its name, in addition to the popularity of stuff like DeFit.
