●About the Gyms in RS, DP, and WB
Gyms were important milestones in the game,
designed as a challenge for the game.
Starting with RS, "gimmicks" were added to add a sense of tempo and variety to the game,
and I was involved in creating them from RS onwards.
In RS, I experimented with gyms with fighting and flying mechanics,
and in DP and WB, I compiled and created them almost entirely myself.
At the time, the workload was manageable by myself,
so I believe the overall structure was well-organized and there weren't many issues with progression.
However, after XY was converted to 3D, creating them became more difficult.
●About the Gyms in XY
The gyms in XY progressed without my knowledge,
and I ended up taking over midway through,
which made progress extremely difficult.
Also, I wasn't able to take full advantage of the 3D aspect,
and despite the flashy graphics,
the gyms ended up being a poor example of gyms that lacked the impression of gym leaders and were simply a waste of time.
The XY gyms left me with many regrets.
