And also under the assumption they let you transfer pokemon from previous games instead of bringing back only a few and making it mostly new pokemon. This is where opinions split depending on what you're willing to give up.
It really doesn't matter where the series goes though, it will always sell like hotcakes because pokemon. And you'd be delusional to think otherwise.
