The problem with this ban is that it doesn't even kill endless battles, there are other ways to do it without using Leppa Berry + Recycle on the same moveset. What it DOES do is kill legitimate strategies like using a Deoxys-D with Leppa Berry + Recyle to PP stall out your opponent.
It's not about "muh showderp mememons," it's about legitimate strategies being banned because the people who make the decisions are too lazy to come up with a ruling that actually bans the thing they're trying to get rid of. Using the excuse that those legitimate strategies that are banned because of this ruling aren't viable enough to put the effort in to coming up with a better ruling that allows for them is fucking stupid and lazy and shows a complete lack of consideration for people who actually want to try out non-standard strategies.
